When I think of Switzerland, three words come to mind - heaven on earth. I always had the idea that Switzerland was a type of utopia out of a fairytale - and that, it was. I stayed in both Lucerne and a smaller ski village called Engelberg. As an outdoorsy person, Switzerland was unlike anything I had ever experienced. When I first laid eyes on the Alps, I shed a few tears, completely overwhelmed with the sheer beauty of this country! It is so hard to believe that places like this exist, and it fills my heart with so much gratitude to be able to see and experience this beauty first hand. I spend much of my time in Switzerland solo, and in deep contemplation, as I felt immeasurably connected to nature and the Universe around me.

A few memorable activities were taking the Mt. Titlis cable car to the top of the mountain, and tubing/sledding down the hills and playing other snow sports with my new friends. We had a walk along the Titlis Cliff Walk, and ventured inside the 5,000 year old Titlis Glacier Cave, which was an exhilarating experience in itself.
